Each Friday, in Kosher Halal Co-op (located at 2 S. Professor St.) Oberlin Hillel offers Shabbat services and a Shabbat meal to the larger Oberlin community
Services begin at 5:30 PM and offer an eclectic selection of materials. From songs sung with guitar to traditional hebrew readings, Oberlin Hillel strives to include practices from many different traditions of Judaism.
At 7:00 PM a Shabbat meal is offered to the entire campus. Gluten free, Vegetarian and Vegan options are always provided. Both the service and dinner are open to the entire community regardless of tradition, faith or religious knowledge.
